CHOICE Options - BEST One Dental

The Choice Options have No Waiting Periods for any covered procedures, No deductibles – $25 Co Pay per visit

  • Annual Maximum: Choice of $3,000 or $5,000 per calendar year per covered person
  • Basic Dental Services: Exams, Cleanings, Bitewing X-rays | Paid 100% In-Network
  • Intermediate Dental Services: Filings, anterior & posterior composite, emergency palliative treatment, pathology, panoramic radiographic image and full mouth series of radiographic images … and much more! Paid 50% the first 12 months and 80% after 12 months
  • Major Dental Services: Implants, crowns, inlays, onlays and pontics, fixed bridges, complete and partial dentures, oral surgery, anesthesia (general or IV sedation), periodontics, endodontics, and much more! Paid 10% the first 12 months and 60% after 12 months

Out-of-Network: Plan pays the same as in-network, subject to balance billing

ECONOMY Option - BEST One Dental

The Economy Option has No Waiting Periods for Basic Services and a 6 Month waiting period for Intermediate Services. Major procedures are Not Covered under the Economy plan option. No deductibles – $25 Co Pay per visit

The BEST One Dental plans utilizes the National Networks of Dentemax and Connection Dental which have over 20 million members and over 265,000 Provider Access Points.

When will your dental plan become effective?

You will have a choice during the online enrollment to select the 1st or the 15th of the month for an effective date. If you select a 1st of the month effective date your initial billing will be the premium rate that was shown on the quote page. If you select a 15th of the month effective date your initial billing will be 1 ½ months premium to cover the first 45 days of your coverage. The initial billing will be processed upon submission of your dental insurance application.

Do you need dental claim forms?

Claim forms are not required when using in-network dentists. Additionally, if you were to go out of network then claim forms would be required.

We also offer Spirit Dental Insurance with no waiting periods. If you are looking for a lower priced plan, we offer the Dental Savings plans which provide discounts of 15% to 60%. The Savings plans are very popular and include: Dental Access Plan, Careington Dental Plans and the DentalPlus Savings Plan.

If you are looking for a inexpensive dental insurance plan that only includes preventative and basic services, the Economy $1500 should fit your dental needs. On the other hand, the Choice $3000 and Choice $5000 options include Preventative, Basic and Major Services with no waiting periods. All options are available for all ages as long as the primary applicant is between 18 and 99 years old. Children can be included under the primary applicant. Surprisingly, the BEST One Dental is Guaranteed Renewable for life.

PPO Dental Networks

All three options us large national PPO Networks which include the Dentemax and Connection Dental Network. The advantage of using a in-network dentist comes down to additional savings. Because the providers have agreed to negotiated discount, you will see substantial savings. Another advantage of staying in the network, you won’t have to complete any claim forms. Since these are PPO plans, you still have the freedom to use out-of-network providers and the insurance pays the same amount as in network (subject to balance billing).

When you apply, you have a choice of plan effective dates which include the 1st or 15th of the month. Nearly all dental insurance plans have deductibles.
