Allstate offers a wide variety of affordable plans designed for specific needs, to fill the gap and help pay for unexpected medical expenses. Accident Medical Expense coverage for injuries due to accidents. Critical Illness plans that cover conditions such as: cancer, transplants, stroke. Cancer Heart and Stroke plans that pay up to $75,000. Allstate supplement health insurance plans make Cash payments to help with out of pocket expenses so you can spend more time getting healthy.

Plan
Enhancer – Accident Medical Expense

Coverage to help you pay out-of-pocket costs after an accident, critical illness or hospitalization.

Plan Enhancer starts with Accident Medical Expense coverage. Then, you can add  optional Cancer and Heart/Stroke and Sickness Hospitalization riders — depending on your needs and availability in your state. If the unexpected happens, the insurance pays cash benefits regardless of other health coverage. There are no waiting periods and benefits increase and deductibles decrease years one through three. Benefit levels from $2,500 to $17,000.

Term
Life – Critical Illness

Cash benefits to help you or your loved ones in case of critical illness or loss

How the plan works: Choose the benefit amount (ranging from $25,000 to $100,000) that best fits your needs and budget. If a critical illness benefit is paid, your total benefits are reduced accordingly. The monthly premium is also reduced as  long as your policy remains active. Your policy continues to pay benefits until the term ends, or benefits are fully paid.

Covered conditions1
Full cash benefits are paid for: Invasive cancer, Heart attack2, Stroke, Kidney failure, Coma, Blindness, Deafness, Major organ transplant, Paralysis, Loss of limb,  Major burns

Partial (25%) cash benefits are paid for: Coronary artery, bypass graft, Noninvasive cancer, Advanced Alzheimer’s disease, Heart valve surgery

1 90-day waiting period for first diagnosis of Cancer Type A or Cancer Type B; 30-day waiting period for first diagnosis of all  other covered critical illnesses — waiting periods may vary by state.
2 Non-ST elevation myocardial infarctions (NSTEMI) are not covered

Heart and Stroke

Coverage which reduces the financial impact of a critical illness or loss

Your Cancer and Heart/Stroke plan will pay cash benefits for a number of common diagnoses.
There are four benefit levels available – $25,000; $30,000; $50,000 and $75,000.

First-ever, life-threatening Cancer: 100% of your selected benefit amount

Coronary Artery Disease or Cardiac Arrhythmia resulting in Heart Attack: 100% of your selected benefit amount

Coronary Artery Disease or Cardiac Arrhythmia resulting in Coronary Bypass: 25% of your selected benefit amount

Coronary Artery Disease resulting in Coronary Angioplasty: 10% of your selected benefit amount

Cerebrovascular Disease resulting in Stroke: 100% of your selected benefit amount
